Particle Size and Distribution Analysis by Laser Diffraction

Laser scattering particle size distribution analyzer uses the principles of Mie scattering theory for measuring the size and distribution of minute particles suspended in lquid. Measurement is possible over a wide range of particle size from 0.040-1000 µm. Click on the photo for a test requirements and instructions.

Particle Size by Vibratory Sieve Analysis

Sieve shakers can effectively carry out both wet and dry particle size analyses in a particle size range between approximately 45 µm and 125 mm. Click on the photo for a test requirements and instructions.

Melt Index

Melt Indexer device measures the flow rate of a polymer mass through a known orifice under specified conditions of temperature and load. Standard ASTM D1238 can be run to determine either Melt Flow Rate (MFR) or more advanced technical information such as shear rate, shear stress and viscosity. Viscosity of Liquid/Solid Dispersions

Rotational viscometer instruments accurately measure the torque required to rotate a disk in a fluid at a known speed and temperature under laminar flow to calculate the viscosity of that fluid. Viscosity measurement is critical measure for performance of liquid/solids dispersions.  Click on the photo for a test requirements and instructions.

pH of Liquid/Solid Dispersions

pH is an important parameter to be measured and controlled. The pH of a solution indicates degree of acidity or alkalinity. Measured pH values will mostly lie in the range 0 to 14 with a neutrality measure at 7, acidity less than 7 and alkalinity more than 7.  pH is a critical measure in formulating mixtures for stability and dispersion performance. Moisture/Solids Content

Our moisture analyzer, sometimes referred to as moisture balance, utilizes infrared heating technology to drive moisture out of a sample. Moisture content is calculated by comparing the initial sample weight to the dried or final sample weight. Working range is between 0.01-99.90% moisture with readability of results within 0.01%.
